National Institute of Technology Delhi

Established in 2010 under an Act of Parliament, NIT Delhi is an Institute of National Importance located on a 51-acre urban campus on GT Karnal Road. Offering B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs across traditional and emerging engineering fields—such as Aerospace, VLSI, and Data Science—it is one of India’s youngest NITs. With around 1,200 students, it features modern lecture halls, lab facilities, and research centres linked to industry. While still building its placement ecosystem, top branches typically secure average packages in the ₹10–15 LPA range. Admission is through JEE Main under JoSAA counseling. NIT Delhi is ideal for candidates seeking a centrally situated, emerging technological campus with growing academic depth and future-oriented infrastructure.
